The Role In this role, you will work on exciting, cutting-edge technology initiatives/products from the ground up to pioneer innovative technology initiatives and products that shape our Machine Learning and AI technology roadmap across the organization, with the goal of transforming patients' lives. Our program starts on July 15, 2024 and ends on December 13, 2024. All applicants must be available to work full-time for the entire duration of the program and must be willing to relocate to Seattle, WA. Here's What You'll Do * Engage in pioneering ML platform engineering projects that bridge multiple functional domains within a dynamic, agile setting, challenging the limits of AI and ML to innovate and improve our platform capabilities. * Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and leadership, to grasp the nuances of business challenges and objectives, leveraging these insights to craft ML-powered platform solutions that are scalable, efficient, and impactful. * Design and implement innovative solutions powered by ML algorithms to meet complex business needs, focusing on the development of intelligent full-stack applications that leverage predictive analytics and natural language processing. * Co-own and proactively enhance your team's AI/ML products and services, focusing on improving efficiency, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness through advanced ML models and techniques. * Lead in the development and management of automated and analytics-driven solutions, emphasizing the use of machine learning for predictive analytics, and insight generation. * Undertake code enhancements and optimizations for ML software builds, including algorithm refinement, model retraining, and legacy code refactoring or retirement. * Communicate effectively to your team about timelines to deliver your work efficiently and reliability. * Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications) * Working toward a Bachelors degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science, ML or a related technology * A minimum of 1 years of relevant job experience (internship/co-op acceptable) with a strong preference for experience in ML projects. * Educational or job-related experience with full-stack web application development with a strong preference for projects that incorporate AI or ML components. * Educational or job-related experience documenting technical systems and user workflows. * Indefinite right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. * Must be willing and able to relocate to Seattle, WA for the co-op Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications) * A desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative.
