Bryce Corporation Logistics Technician Warehouse in Searcy, Arkansas

Job Purpose: Drives industrial standup forklift to unload base materials and other supplies from delivery trucks. Stores material in warehouse and transports materials/supplies from warehouses to production areas. Moves finished materials from production areas into warehouse and prepares materials for shipment as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Uses standup forklift or hand truck to unload incoming materials and supplies, checking for damage and accurately completing/processing paperwork

  • Transports materials and supplies to appropriate storage areas in warehouse and scans the location

  • Receives call-out lists for base materials, retrieves materials from storage and loads onto trucks or transports to appropriate production area

  • Checks materials returned from production areas, submits information to required personnel and returns materials to storage

  • Transports rolls of printed film to designated holding area, organizing and stacking as needed

  • Moves finished materials to staging areas or onto trucks, accurately completing and processing paperwork

  • Moves other materials to appropriate storage/holding areas, arranging or stacking in safe and orderly manner

  • Performs various inventory functions as required.

  • Maintains forklift batteries and charging areas in safe and orderly manner

  • Operates standup forklift in safe, effective manner and performs frequent safety inspections and reports any issues to supervisor

  • May drive pick-up or bob truck to obtain or deliver materials and supplies from/to local facilities or warehouses

  • Removes trash from production floor and maintains dumpster room and other work areas in neat, orderly manner

  • Responsible for housekeeping duties in assigned work areas

  • Creates manifest for finished goods and raw film outbound

  • Performs other related work as required

    Education and Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent

    Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Ability to operate standup forklift

  • Ability to read/comprehend shipping/receiving and production paperwork

  • Ability to work effectively as an individual or part of a team

  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts on nights, weekend, holidays, etc. as needed
