Vital Link is located in Sealy, Texas. We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to add to the VLI Team.

Summary

Must submit resume for consideration

Coordinate and participate in activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds.

Duties

Paint and perform repairs to masonry, woodwork, plumbing, electrical and furnishings of buildings.

Ground maintenance activities to include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. Emptying outside trash barrels as needed, keeping parking lot and external drains free of leaves and debris.

Pressure washing exterior building and sidewalks as needed.

Maintain all lighting fixtures, replace bulbs and make repairs as needed.

Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.

Set up and organize regular schedules for changing AC filters, cleaning ice machine and painting.

Move, store, and/or dispose of furniture as required.

Assist with building crates for shipping when required.

Assist with assembly and/or moving of contract jobs as required.

Preferred

Experience in electrical maintenance, Electrician is a plus.

Experience working in a maintenance type role for a manufacturing company.
