Aston Carter Order Entry Specialist in Scranton, Pennsylvania

Description:

This Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for maintaining relationship with existing/new customers, entering orders, review PO's, provide status updates to brokers/customers/sales team, work directly with the logistics team by responding to requests, tracking orders, resolving freight claims and being the liaison between the company, brokers and 3pl logistic providers.

Day to Day:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining relationships between the company and the customers. Managing the order to cash flow process, facilitating incoming purchase orders and data entry

  • Providing status of orders to brokers, customers and sales, responding to warehouse and carrier inquiries

  • Tracking orders through to delivery, resolving freight claims and OS&D issues, and other duties as required

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, New Product Sourcing, Supply Chain, and other Customer Service team members to ensure flawless and timely delivery of new and existing products

  • Communicate orders status and problem resolutions

  • Responsible for the following activities in our growing E-Commerce channel

  • Process and confirm orders, schedule pickups and invoice through customer portals or communication directly with customers

  • Coordinate with customer regarding transportation needs

  • Work with warehouse to ensure e-commerce orders are picked and staged in time for shipment or pickup

  • Manage any special labeling and create a warehouse process for handling customer labeling requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years in order entry/ sales support/ account management (manufacturing environment preferred)

  • Experience with MS Office Suite

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Prior E-commerce experience preferred

  • Experience with ERP systems preferred (preferably Oracle)
