Hub International Manager of Commercial Lines in Scottsdale, Arizona
SUMMARY
The Manager of Commercial Lines is responsible for overseeing account management employees in Commercial Lines in Arizona.
The Manager of Commercial Lines will support the Region through continuous improvement in the operational performance of the account management Commercial Lines employees in Arizona.
This role oversees the day-to-day functions of the account management Commercial Lines employees in Arizona to include the following duties:
Conduct annual performance reviews for all direct reports
Coordinate time off within the department to ensure service level and appropriate reporting of time off
Work with the COO-AZ, AZ president to deploy initiatives which expand the department capabilities
Provide feedback to COO-AZ, AZ President on organizational enhancements for account managers to improve performance and productivity. This includes assessing individual workloads and recommending adjustments in workloads
Assist in developing the operational planning for the Arizona account management staff in Commercial Lines and implement assigned departmental objectives
Provide oversight when operational challenges related to staffing or business model changes are identified
Monitor timelines and backlogs of staff and implement plans to improve service results
In conjunction with the COO-AZ, AZ- President help strengthen the workforce through recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring
Perform other duties as assigned or required
QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year college degree preferred
Supervisory experience required
Experience in account/ client management of Commercial Lines book of business
Competent use of standard office tools/software (e.g., MS Office)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Property and Casualty Agent license
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Up to 25%
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
