NOW HIRING A JOB CAPTAIN TO WORK ON THE DESIGN ASPECT OF COMMERCIAL, MULTI-FAMILY AND K-12 PROJECTS !!

ABOUT THIS ROLE: To collaborate directly with the Project Manager and Project Directors with overseeing the coordination and creation of project design deliverables and construction documentation for various types of projects. You will manage and mentor the projects' production teams, ensuring that documents are complete and on time, and actively participate in the preparation of documentation, as required.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support and coordinate all phases: planning, programming, design, engineering, construction and project closeout.

• Prepare sketches by studying architectural/engineering descriptions and specifications, creating a picture of the physical, functional, and aesthetic requirements.

• Support efforts related to scoping, estimating and proposal creation.

• Serve as a resource and guide for less experienced BIM staff, helping to solve difficult or complex model issues that may arise.

• Support the Project Manager by providing sketches and revisions as needed.

• Develop, organize and review building plans, as well as prepare bid documents and construction contract documents for general contractors.

• Comply with legal requirements by adhering to codes and regulations and navigate the permitting process.

• Review outgoing correspondence for accuracy and completeness. Spelling must be accurate.

• Meet required deadlines, drawing quality standards, and exceed client expectations.

• Coordinate regularly with the Partner-in-Charge, project staff, Interiors team, and production staff.

• Travel to design and coordination meetings and job sites
