Responsibilities Job Summary Utilizing advanced clinical skills, the Electrophysiology Specialist assists the Electrophysiology (EP) physician in the performance of diagnostic EP, mapping and ablation procedures, in roles that involves scrub assist, monitoring hemodynamics, and pacing/recording using EP recording systems and documeting in the EMR Independently demonstrates the ability to utilize evidence-based clinical knowledge to assist the EP physician with the diagnoses and treatment plan of the electrophysiology patient through the set up and operation of the diagnostic and treatment devices in the electrophysiology suite. Works in collaboration with the medical staff and department leadership to recommend and maintain the supply chain of products in the EP suite. Remains current with the organization's regulatory standards and CMS regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Associates Degree from an accredited Radiology Program, or a graduate from a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
