Job Description Summary:

  • Team D&G comprised of D&G, Solerity, UNCOMN and Teradata as proven prime companies at Scott AFB are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Developer in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. IGC provides a single place for access to common data, business services and information on material asset visibility and cohesive, integrated data services for the management of supply, distribution, and logistics to the combatant commands, military services, and other federal agencies. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a key member of a dynamic team developing innovative logistics solutions to sustain warfighter readiness and lethality.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Experienced using advanced programming skills to create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

  • Manages application developers with SQL tuning, data modeling, data refresh, code migration, performance testing and physical database design.

  • Designs and develops software to meet user needs, and ensure the software is scalable and efficient.

  • Designs, implements, PL/SQL codes, tests and maintains Oracle PL/SQL code and functionality

  • Supports development teams with database object creation, PL/SQL, procedures, triggers

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution

  • OR Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP

  • 10 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies. Master’s Degree with at least 7 years’ experience acceptable.

Eligibility Requirements:  

  • DoD Secret Clearance

  • This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))  

Desired Skills:  

  • USTRANSCOM IT Systems Experience

  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
