Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

This individual will work as part of a team to support the IT Service Management Office (ITSMO) effort.

  • Participate in advancing organizational structure of the IT Service Management Office (ITSMO).

  • Aid in the development, improvement, and documentation of service management processes.

  • Develop and track metrics.

  • Understand organizational workflows.

  • Update project/process schedules.

  • Provide administrative support to designated Program and Project Managers.

  • Respond to other government tasks as required in support of the ITSMO.

  • Conduct Service Catalog management activities including intake, maintenance, and improvement.

  • Coordinate with Service Managers to ensure accuracy of data contained within EIT Service Catalog.

  • Coordinate resolution of EIT Service Catalog inquiries and feedback items.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of IT experience (A BS/BA can substitute for 4 years of experience).

  • Active SECRET clearance.

  • Strong conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior DoD or USAF working environment experience a plus.

  • Understand Air Force Policy Publication process (AFPD, AFI, AFMANs, and MPTOs).

  • Basic understanding of Defense Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF). DESMF is derived from the following:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

  • Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT).

  • Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).

  • Six Sigma.

  • Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM)(eTOM – Business Process Framework).

  • ISO/IEC 20000.

  • ISO/IEC 27001.

  • Total Quality Management (TQM).

  • ITIL foundation certification.

  • Familiarity with MSVisio, MSProject, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
