This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Supervisory Budget Analyst within the Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) Budget Division. Responsibilities Develop budget plans for the organizations budget division. Manage the organizations working capital funds budgetary process. Analyze budget guidance to determine impact on assigned organizations operations. Assign work to employees based on the priority and level of complexity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Analyzing historical data to identify trends and/or to assess funding requirements; (2) Formulating budget estimates for annual programs; (3) Monitoring budget program details such as: allocations, obligations, and/or expenditure of funds; (4) Identifying problem areas to implement corrective courses of action within a budget; (5) Recommending procedures to develop fund allocations. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
