Temporary full-time position from 3/3/2024 to 12/31/2024 Drives/operates farm machinery, plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops of corn, soybeans and wheat. Attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tows harvesting equipment, drives/operates self-propelled combine to harvest crops. Setup and modify combines that come directly from the factory floor changing concaves, rear, axels and adding in GPS guidance systems. Drive transport trucks, pilot vehicles or flagging cars to haul harvesting machines adjusting the speed of cutters, blowers, conveyers and weight of cutting hear using electric and hand tools to improve the quality harvest of grain and oil seed crops. Performs duties like field servicing, lubricating, repairing farm machinery, and maintaining equipment and transports produce to elevator or storage area. Labor intensive tasks such as rock picking, maintaining fences and other farm structures. Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
