Teradyne Field Application Engineer in Science Park, Singapore

Organization & Role

The Teradyne Field Support team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to find and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provides first line onsite application support / consultation to customers

  • Develops characterization and production test programs to solve customers’ test problems

  • Supports customer in New Production Introduction/ test program offload to volume production

  • Collection of data and perform analysis on test issues

  • Reads DIB schematics and performs troubleshooting on hardware and software related issues

  • Works with customers to understand and optimize test processes

  • Acts as the liaison between factory and customers

  • Provides formal and on-the-job training to customers

  • Escalates service problem and takes ownership of problem until it is resolved.

  • Off-office hour support required

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 Years of experience required in test/product engineering

  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering

  • Experience in IC component testing preferred

  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.

  • Willing to travel within and out of the country

  • Knowledge of ‘C’ or Visual Basic programming and windows. Handler and prober interface experience
