Summary

Chenega Naswik International is seeking a Visitor Control Center Administrator to support security operations at Schriever AFB .

Responsibilities

  • Process all Visitor Access Requests (VAR) for personnel entering the MDA site.

  • Confirm non-DoD security clearances with the MDA Special Security Office (MDA/DEI) in support of MDA, VBI Personnel Security Programs, and ROC-H Security Management, as required.

  • Process VARs for MDA sponsored events and meetings.

  • Process VARs for MDA U.S. Government and military personnel visiting other U.S. Government activities and cleared U.S. contractor facilities.

  • Receive and process need-to-know certifications for U.S. Government personnel and contractors supporting MDA. The VAR processing time shall not exceed three (3) full business days. VAR processing actions include logging the VAR into the MDA facility ACS database, creating a digital file, and sending it to the MDA government sponsor for approval/disapproval. If government sponsor approval is not received within five (5) business days, forward the VAR to the sponsor’s security manager for processing assistance.

  • For an urgent requirement approved by DSS government, process VARs verbally communicated from the visitor’s organization via telephone. The visitor’s organization shall be instructed to provide a corresponding email or facsimile verification within one (1) business day of receipt.

  • Update the MDA ACS database within one (1) business day after receipt of an approved VAR.

  • Maintain all approved VARs for two years after receipt.

  • Respond and assist medical, fire department, law enforcement, and other personnel at the direction of supervisors.

  • Respond to emergencies and perform CPR/AED/First Aid on an as needed basis.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum six (6) months experience in badge administration.

  • Minimum six (6) months experience in common access card administration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and Outlook.
