Job Description Summary

Role Summary/Purpose:   

Reporting to the GE Vernova Wind Segment Product Management Leader, the Executive Administrative Assistant will provide a range of administrative support to Executive leaders in the GE Vernova Wind organization; Independently execute all assigned responsibilities and effectively balance the needs of multiple individuals; and operate as part of a team that works together and provides back-up support to other administrative staff as needed.  A high level of integrity in handling confidential information is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proactively support the assigned leaders and team by independently executing all responsibilities while successfully balancing the needs of multiple Senior Leadership team members 

  • Prioritize, maintain, and organize extensive and complex calendars, schedule appointments and meetings (including both on-site and off-site conference arrangements), arrange end to end travel schedules, travel itineraries, air, hotel and ground transportation, manage international visa and right to visit documents, reconcile T&L expenses  

  • Proactively look ahead at calendars/schedules to identify conflicts, judge efficiency and make recommendations as needed

  • Manage a range of general administrative services including ordering supplies and invoice processing

  • Maintain distribution lists, create the draft for organizational announcements and distribute

  • Schedule, plan, and organize all logistical details for in-house and off-site meetings, etc., as needed 

  • Manage Workday transactions and pull reports as needed

  • Communicate professionally with internal and external persons, at times acting as first point of contact to {functional leader} and/or staff making interactions positive experiences. Work proactively and collaboratively to solve for issues  

  • Handle confidential data and matters discreetly and professionally  

  • Create and manage purchase orders as needed; manage outgoing shipments as needed

  • Maintain gratitude plan with communications for moments that matter (ie birthdays, anniversaries, major life events for team)

  • Work as a team player with others

  • Special projects as required 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma and five years’ work experience as an executive administrative assistant , or equivalent experience/ knowledge

  • Minimum three years’ experience in event planning, administrative support, or complex project management or equivalent experience

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
