Aerotek Mechanical Service Manager in Schenectady, New York
Job Title: Mechanical Service Manager
We are looking for a skilled and experienced service manager to join a rapidly growing HVAC/mechanical company! Those with direct experience as a service manager or those with an extensive work history within commercial/industrial HVAC are encouraged to apply. Experience with commercial/industrial mechanical equipment such as boilers, burners, controls, chillers, air handlers, and piping systems is required.
Pay
$80,000-$100,000/year, based on experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage service operations for commercial and industrial mechanical equipment.
Coordinate and dispatch service technicians for maintenance and repair tasks on commercial and industrial HVAC/boiler room equipment.
Ensure timely and efficient service delivery to meet customer needs.
Maintain organized records of service activities and customer interactions.
Generate targeted proposals and manage estimates.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of burners, boilers, mechanical room design/purpose/layout.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Ability to interpret and apply a variety of applicable codes and standards.
Ability to identify potential customers to generate targeted proposals and manage estimates.
Problem solving, product knowledge, product development, and presentation skills.
