Misumi USA Senior Manager Sales, Industrial Digital Solutions-Schaumburg in Schaumburg, Illinois

The Senior Manager will create and nurture an environment for the geographically dispersed sales team that enables them to achieve individual growth and meet the annual revenue budget.  This role collaborates with Global, Regional, and North America leaders to accelerate sales of Industrial Digital (ID) Manufacturing’s meviy offerings.  This role serves as the bridge between strategies and execution plans and unifies the diverse cultural backgrounds of the entire team.

  • Design, recommend, and manage sales programs that achieve sales KPIs

  • Participates in forecasting and planning for annual, quarterly, monthly plans.

  • Continuously improve sales process and increase sales volume.

  • Leverage experience and tools to identify key stakeholders within target accounts.

  • Execute projects with other business units to improve overall MISUMI sales.

  • Collaborate with other departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Use VOC to recommend development of new products, solutions or services that increase customer satisfaction and sales potential.

  • Present meviy product and service solutions and business model to customers

  • Ensure sales team enables customer understanding of how to use the catalog, order parts, use the downloadable CAD data, and Web Ordering System.

  • Evaluates sales force to drive performance and motivation.

  • Works closely with HR in the recruitment and training of new sales personnel.

  • Provides reports to management as required.

  • Travel as required up to 50% of the time.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Manage and aggregate sales activities and provide countermeasure as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering or related field.

  • 5 years of sales experience and 3 years of management experience selling  manufacturing products and services to senior executives and department heads.

  • Experience managing field sales team, large territories, state-of-the-art offerings.

  • Mechanical components industry experience highly preferred

  • Must have managed a team of 5 or more sales employees

  • Outstanding leadership, management, and motivational skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including delivering formal presentations to audiences of all sizes.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

  • Outstanding ability establishing, building, and maintaining long-term relationships, particularly with key accounts.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience using CRM(s) to track and report activities.
