Payroll Analyst

Job Overview

TE's Payroll teams prepare, document and disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. They evaluate current systems, and recommend and develop operating efficiency improvements. They also serve as liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies, monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments and deductions and prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including items such as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides operations, systems, services, and project management support to Payroll.

  • Provides support for administration, basic configuration and maintenance of time & attendance system and SharePoint site.

  • Provides manager/employee access to and training for time and attendance system.

  • Audits employee data for accuracy and reporting.

  • Provides support for the day to day payroll operations.

  • Documents and maintains procedures, system configuration documents and training documents for Payroll and Time & Attendance.

  • Assists with SAP/Payroll testing when required.

  • Assists with overall Process Optimization.

  • Provides support to ensure Payroll is compliant.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor degree (or above) or equivalent experience required, preferably in Accounting, HR, or related field.

  • 1+ years of professional working experience in Payroll preferred.

  • Focused and proven success delivering an Extraordinary Customer Experience.

  • Experience with time and attendance system may be required.

  • Experience with tax reporting may be required.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
