Live-in Nanny sought in Scarsdale, NY, to care for 3 children, two of whom have food allergies and the other one has severe anxiety. Work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Duties include: Assisting with the morning, afternoon, and evening routines, including helping with breakfast, getting ready for school, driving the children to and from school and extracurricular activities, buying groceries and clothes for the children, preparing snacks and lunchboxes, cooking dinner, bathing, and bedtime. Tending to the general and basic needs of the children while providing supervision to ensure the childrens safety in day-to-day activities. Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities including free play, arts and crafts, games, math and reading. ln case of illness or injury, providing the necessary medical attention; for example, closely monitoring the children's symptoms and health concerns, taking their temperature, and administering medications as directed. Following established emergency protocols, respond promptly and effectively in case or an allergic reaction. Maintaining a thorough understanding of the children's specific allergens, symptoms, and emergency procedures as provided by the parents and healthcare professionals. Ensuring the children's environment is allergen-free by carefully managing food and environmental exposures. Collaborating closely with the children's parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Instructing the children on proper health and personal care habits, such as diet, exercise, and toilet behavior, assisting as needed. Assigning chores as appropriate to teach the children responsibility, self-control, and self-confidence. Creating a safe environment for the children by removing hazards and enforcing appropriate boundaries. Performing housekeeping tasks related to the children's care, such as doing the laundry, folding clothes, and doing the dishes. Cleaning up (vacuum/sweep/wipe down) areas the children utilize. Organizing the children's closet, drawers, and toys.

Min Req: High School Diploma, or GED, or foreign equivalent. Must be willing to live on-site with the family.
