Maine Veterans' Homes RN Supervisor - Weekend Days in Scarborough, Maine

The RN Supervisor is a professional nursing, administrative, and clinical position with the responsibility of ensuring the optimal health and functional status of all residents in the facility. The supervisor oversees and assists all nursing service personnel to meet the needs of each resident in accordance with MVH policies and procedures, current federal, state, and local regulations, and VA standards governing the facility. We have a 12-hour both Sat. and Sun.every other weekend 7a-7p shift. Other shifts available to give candidate full-time hours.

Required Experience:

Successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse in good standing with a current and valid State of Maine RN License; BSN preferred. Experience or training in areas such as geriatrics, rehabilitation, education and psychiatric nursing desirable. Experience or training with and ability to organize, direct and supervise nursing and other allied health personnel to meet the total needs of the residents preferred.
