Duties:

Diagnose patients and perform surgery to treat diseases, defects, and injuries in the face, mouth, jaw, and neck; perform biopsies to determine whether tumors or growths are cancerous; administer local, regional, or general anesthetics to patients before surgeries; surgically remove tumors and abnormal growths of the oral and maxillofacial areas; perform surgery to adjust misaligned jaws to provide increased functionality, comfort, and symmetry; remove impacted wisdom teeth and buried dental roots; perform reconstructive surgery to treat congenital defects, structural abnormalities, and injuries; prepare patients' mouths for dental implants; collaborate with various healthcare specialists to create suitable treatment plans for patients; and inform patients of their diagnoses and discuss appropriate treatment options with them. 

Requirements:

Must have DDS or DMD or foreign degree equivalent, have completed oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, and have valid Pennsylvania dental and medical licenses.

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
