MATERIAL PLANNER - RAIL DOMAIN

Work Location: Savona area

Roles & Responsibilities:

He/ She will be responsible for the management of own Suppliers portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring that materials are available at the right time, quantity and place coherently to projects needs.

His/Her duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Communicate delivery needs to Suppliers using the dedicated tools;

  • Material Planning documents creation and accurate management;

  • Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods needed for the projects;

  • Maintain delivery datas in ERP;

  • Ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR process;

  • Monitor Suppliers’ performances KPIs;

  • Participate to initiatives aimed at Suppliers performances improvement;

  • Contribute with supply chain inputs for Suppliers selection;

  • Contribute to the implementation of recovery actions and risk management plans and actions

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• BSc / MSc in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar background;

• Solid experience with ERP tools (knowledge of SAP would be advantageous);

• Familiar with Inventory management & Material Planning techniques;

• Familiar with Supplier Delivery Performance Management;

• Familiar with Industrial scheduling, and Transport & Distribution practices
