PHA Georgia, LLC Production Team Member in Savannah, Georgia

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Production Associate to join our team. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations and production. This is a hands-on role that responsible for assembling component parts together and performing quality inspections on an assembly line. Responsibilities:

  • Works in a team environment with other team members in the processes of problem-solving, suggestion implementation and team building.
  • Monitors and tracks key operational metrics for your particular assembly line. This includes tracking and analyzing OEE, PPM, Scrap, Rework, and Throughput.
  • Works to assure that the customer receives their product on-time and at the proper quality level.
  • Supports continuous improvement by participation in employee involvement teams and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and operates equipment safely at all times. Corrects or communicates to supervision any unsafe condition that you may encounter. Uses all required safety equipment at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop or kneel.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 30 pounds.
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
