As the Maintenance Field Specialist for Goodwill, you’ll keep our stores up and running by providing maintenance to keep our stores safe and inviting!

    Your Impact:

  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on store/donation center equipment, structures, and grounds.

  • Install and build new equipment as assigned

  • Follow through with all minor electrical maintenance using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.

  • Engage in minor plumbing repairs, minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work.

  • Prepare the surfaces and painting various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion.

  • Order parts and equipment as needed

Your Qualifications

  • You love to travel to different stores daily to help make sure the environment is in top shape

  • You have 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience along with a high school degree or GED.

  • Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members

  • Attention to detail while multi-tasking

  • Learn and adapt to evolving technology needs

  • Work both independently and with a team

  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
