This position is responsible to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in dispatch. Establish and maintain effective dispatch communication and coordination. Working closely with concrete management team, assist in establishing good relations with current customers and create lasting customer relations. Duties & Responsibilities 1.Coordinate utilization and sharing of equipment within MN 2.Assist in handling customer service calls - talk with customer, identify issue, find resolution 3.Dispatch activities & coordinate schedule for upcoming days 4.Responsible to safely supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in dispatching personnel and equipment 5.Maintain communication with sales, managers and plant supervisors on status of material delivery 6.Quote COD pricing & address questions 7.Assist in Review status report and prepare needed reports 8.Assist in hiring and training of new employees. 9.Assist in building relationships with new customers and maintains good relationships with existing customers 10.Review upcoming orders and schedules 11.Adjust errors and investigate and report reasons for discrepancies, recommend resolution 12.Assist in setting up equipment within appropriate computer systems 13.Assist with proper placement of current and new equipment as needed within MN concrete operations 14.Assist with implementation and training of new software programs. 15.Assist with assignment of employees to equipment within MN concrete operations 16.Follow up with sales team and QC assuring all necessary products are approved and in quotes before time of delivery 17.Continue to seek or explore new opportunities improving truck utilization and delivery process including analyze, recommend and communicate standardization of dispatch and delivery processes throughout concrete operations within MN 18.Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others. 19.Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors 20.Performs other duties as assigned.
