Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Sauk Centre, MN. From: 03/19/2024 - 11/30/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day. Hours: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 07/26/2024 JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest, store crops, spread manure, and fertilize fields. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled harvest equipment. Assist with agriculture drainage. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and repair to farm machinery, crop storage, farm buildings and other in season repairs on farm. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Hay, Silage JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive sitting and walking, frequent stooping and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
