Maxim Healthcare Staffing Triage RN - $57/hr in Saugus, Massachusetts

Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to help with assessments, triage, intake, and health screenings at a Shelter in Massachusetts.

Details of the position include:

Location: Revere, MA

Duration : 26 weeks to start, but strong chance of extension

Facility Type: Shelter Intake Center

Two openings: Mon-Fri, 3p-11p

Sat-Sun, Can be flexible on hours and can accommodate 8's or 12's

*E/O holiday requirement

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $57/hr

Duties and Responsibilities (these are a general summary and not all inclusive):

  • The Nurse would be working at an intake center for migrant families.

  • Nurse will be conducting assessments and triage for mostly pregnant women.

  • May be responsible for scheduling appointments with PCPs.

  • There will also be an NP on site to help with intakes and assessment.

  • Patients will be triaged, and the ones who have a higher health risk will have priority to be placed at a more permanent shelter.

  • Patients that require acute care will be sent to a local hospital or urgent care off site.

  • Prefer caregivers that have OB and/or L & D experience

    Preferred experience in one of the following:

  • Obstetrics

  • Labor and Delivery

  • Pediatric Practice

  • Maternal Health Practice

  • Shelters

*Bilingual a plus!
