3 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 01/01/2024 - 10/31/2024.

The job includes feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, grooming, bathing, giving medications, bandaging, detecting illness and injuries, walking horses and turning horses out. These activities take place during our farm's peak season which spans from January 1, when the breeding and foaling season begins, through the end of October when the thoroughbred yearling sales end. During this time, the number of horses increases considerably from 70-75 broodmares (which have 65-75 foals each year) to approximately 200-300 horses in our farm ranging from broodmares, foals, weanlings, yearlings, and stallions. Must be able to lift 100 lbs.

Requirements:

  • Three months experience of the duties mentioned
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds
  • Extensive sitting/walking,
  • Frequent stooping/bending over, and repetitive movements
