The RV Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales for new and used RVs and equipment, while providing customers with an outstanding customer service experience. 

Pay: $60,000 guaranteed with potential up to $200,000 annually

Job Duties:

  • Build rapport & trust with customers

  • Generate and close sales for new and used units and accessories, through effective selling techniques and consistent with the company's core values and service pillars

  • Conduct professional, high quality and informative interactive demonstrations with customers

  • Serve as a liaison between customers and various departments including Accounting, F&I, Parts, and Service

  • Maintain appropriate level of contact with customers to increase opportunities for repeat and referral business

  • Continuously improve product knowledge by staying up to date on manufacturer’s product features, components, and changes

  • Stay up to date of market trends and industry changes from publications, manufacturer websites and company provided information

  • Be willing to learn and continuously implement the Alpin Haus selling system word tracks and techniques

  • Participate in the company's education and training seminars to improve sales and customer relationship skills

  • Enhance organization reputation by accomplishing new and different requests, handling customer objections and exploring opportunities to add value to the customer's experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • 1 year retail sales experience; experience in RV or automotive sales preferred

  • Weekend work and occasional travel required

Physical and Environmental Conditions

  • Talking and hearing, walking and sitting, repetitive hand motion, using hands to grasp, and reaching with arms/hands, are required.

  • Very little exposure to adverse environmental conditions; work is normally performed in a typical office environment. Customer interaction may occur outside in various weather conditions.
