Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Job Type : Temp-to-Hire (3-6 months)
Location : Onsite - Styleline Glass Door Systems, 6200 Porter Road, Sarasota, FL 34240
Shift : Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime on Fridays: 6:00 AM - 11:30 AM, if required)
Rate - $27/hr on W2
Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing facility machinery while contributing to process improvements. This role involves resolving mechanical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities :
Promptly resolve maintenance and mechanical issues with minimal disruption.
Perform equipment repairs, part replacements, and preventative maintenance.
Follow safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out protocols.
Complete production work orders and liaise with vendors.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to workplace standards.
Support effective communication within the maintenance department.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required; technical school or 3+ years of maintenance/mechanical experience preferred.
Prior factory or industrial manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
Ability to read and understand instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Bilingual in Spanish preferred; English proficiency required.
Flexible to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.
