PeopleReady Assistant Field Supervisor in Sarasota, Florida

We are currently looking for an Assistant Construction Field Supervisor in Sarasota, FL. We are looking for a carpenter that has some previous lead or project management experience. This position is considered a working supervisor, so you will be working alongside of the crew you are overseeing. Projects are commercial interior buildouts and renovations that range in the $250,000 to $2M area.

NOTE - The pay rate for this job is $27.50 / hour

 Responsibilities:

  • Material and equipment management

  • Training, orientating, overseeing and managing workers on site

  • Manages sub-contractors on site

  • Completes and manages daily required tasks to keep project on timeline

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Must be able to read blueprints

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of carpentry experience

  • At least 1 year of Lead experience

  • Electrical skills and knowledge are a plus English/Spanish is a plus

  • Must have full carpentry tool set including cordless power tools & drills
