Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Hub Senior Supervisor is a critical member of the business and the leadership team, responsible to provide food safety, quality and regulatory leadership for a group of plants in a sub region or hub. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across country and with regional colleagues to create alignment on strategy and processes and drive continuous improvement across the region and participate with corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement of corporate policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead talent management, performance management and leadership development of employees in its hub and broader region and identify current and future resourcing needs of enterprise hub and develop plan to ensure talent pipeline with high performing, engaged talent.

  • Analyze, review, interpret and implement policies, and procedures, regulations and customer and supplier standards for enterprise region in a standardized way to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Build partnerships with leadership and key stakeholders within the region to drive the safety and quality culture and ensure connectivity across leadership in the region.

  • Assist in the creation of strategic and tactical planning for the enterprise.

  • Perform prevention activities and issue resolution and ensure connectivity and collaboration within the matrixed organization in the enterprise sub region.

  • Facilitate resolution to highly complex issues in enterprise hub and proactively anticipate risks and implement preventative action as applicable.

  • Support the development of new processes and systems across the region and provide input into enterprise or business related to base and non base capital needs to maintain product safety.

  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience in the areas of food safety, quality assurance and regulatory affairs

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

  • Two years of supervisory experience

  • Experience with product, food, feed and health, safety and quality practices and systems

  • Experience driving continuous improvement

  • Confirmed experience in designing business strategy
