Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Data and Project Coordinator will handle the database, coordinate data collection and validate the data from external laboratories to support the food safety management systems. In this role, you will work on continuous improvement efforts and global alignment projects and provide support for food safety, quality and regulatory teams, operations or other functional areas where needed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and maintain accurate records of the database in accordance with company's guidelines and standards.

  • Perform data validation and coordination of the orders, processes and documents.

  • Perform data verification and discrepancy mistake tracking to ensure all processes run smoothly.

  • Assist project managers with organizing and coordinating project activities for continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide support on contaminant and quality programs by setting up trials in the factory or laboratory, analyzing the data received from the quality analysis and building up reports from database to meet specified needs.

  • Collaborate with our regional plants that participate in food safety quality and regulatory programs and follow up on actions and improvements.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, Power BI, and/or other programs

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization

  • Growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement

  • The capacity to multitask and handle multiple projects and assignments

  • Able to focus on the right priorities

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

  • Experience with databases, troubleshooting problems, analyzing information, designing reports

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a plant environment

  • Flexible and can function effectively in ambiguity

  • Good understanding of quality management systems and customer quality management programs
