Amazon Transportation Program Manager, Ops Integration in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

Ops Integration team is looking for an experienced Transportation Program Manager to lead several concurrently projects in support of our growth. You will own a portfolio of projects and will be accountable to their end-to-end development: from scoping, to execution, through successful implementation and adoption. You will work closely with leadership and supporting areas to find opportunities for growth and improvement and will be responsible for the adoption of the correct products and tools to raise the bar on performance and quality for our customers.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational requirements for varied audiences. You must think big, move fast, and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in Supply Chain/Operation is a plus, but hands-on experience in Transportation is a must. This person will partner and work closely with Business Management, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, IT and Finance.

Key job responsibilities

· Manage complex transportation projects from conception to implementation and be accountable for key metrics and overall results

· Communicate with stakeholders at different levels and dynamically lead business and product teams to define solutions to improve delivery speed, reduce costs and drive efficiency

· Drive discussions and write business cases in support of new initiatives using data from multiple stakeholders

· Strong analytical orientation, comfort using databases and analytical tools to make data-based decisions

A day in the life

· Work with teams across Amazon to scope project requirements, including AMZL, Tax, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Tech, etc.

· Manage project deliverables, including day-to-day communication with key stakeholders

· Ensure project implementation and adoption

About the team

Ops Integration team is responsible for understanding business and operations requirements to develop solutions to improve Amazon network by partnering with stakeholders from Tech, Finance, Tax and Accounting with main focus on Supply Chain, Transportation and Network & Operational Excellence programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced English

  • Solid experience in project/program management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Transportation or Distribution areas
