Red Hat Solution Architect Intern in Sao Paulo, Brazil

About the job

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Solutions Architect Intern to join us in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will train and prepare for a solutions architect role and help the sales team achieve their sales targets. You'll be responsible for the delivery of technical solutions to our customers, based on the requests of our customers, Red Hat's partners, internal customers like sales representatives, and other solutions architects. As a Solutions Architect Intern, you will work together with the solutions architects to gain more technical expertise and experience, while providing an excellent customer and partner experience.

What you will do

  • Serve as a valuable member of the solutions architecture team

  • Demonstrate responsiveness by reacting to requests on time

  • Demonstrate professionalism by reaching out to peers and senior team members with questions

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of offerings, applications, and solutions

  • Use your knowledge of offerings to provide technical expertise to sales staff, customers, and partners through sales presentations and demonstrations of offerings

  • Prepare detailed specifications of offerings

  • Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data

  • Shadow senior peers to gain experience and learn about the solutions architect role

What you will bring

  • Knowledge of Linux and related technologies, or Java architecture and related technologies

  • Knowledge of virtualization concepts and technologies, or middleware concepts and technologies

  • Currently enrolled in the last two years of a technical university degree studies in an engineering or computer science field

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Good presentation skills

  • Ability to read mailing lists and documentation, and to participate in training courses and enablement training

  • Demonstrated ability to find correct resources and collect required information

  • Good communication skills and a demonstrated ability to relay information to both internal and external customers

  • Advanced English level is mandatory
