Amazon Product & Customer Insights Manager, Customer Experience and Business Trends in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Our team’s mission is to look around corners for innovations meaningful for Amazon customers. We obsess over ideas, activities, and trends that could be differentiating for customers. We bring those ideas to teams across Amazon to ideate and invent.

Amazon is looking for an experienced, talented and detail oriented individual to join our Customer Experience and Business Trends team. The right candidate will have a passion for identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and assessing the landscape for innovations, demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking, have experience influencing and earning the trust with senior stakeholders and driving business teams to take action, have a strong sense of urgency and commitment, and possess remarkable creativity and excellent business judgment.

In this position, you will innovate, build new methodologies to generate insights, and make recommendations to senior leaders and drive actions that directly impact our current and future customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own and execute end-to-end analyses, including scoping, design, data collection, data analysis, creation of recommendations, and presentation of results to senior leadership

  • Perform in-depth analyses and deliver key insights in business, customer experience, and technology areas

  • Use insights driven recommendations to drive actions that impact Amazon customers

  • Deliver projects in a complex and ambiguous environment, and collaborate with peers and stakeholders across geos and business units.

  • Work with senior leaders to understand their priorities and collaborate with them on developing products and services that will improve our customers’ experience

Customer Experience and Business Trends is an organization made up of a diverse suite of functions dedicated to deeply understanding and improving customer experience, globally. We are a team of builders that develop products, services, ideas, and various ways of leveraging data to influence product and service offerings - for almost every business at Amazon - for every customer (E.g., consumers, developers, sellers/brands, employees, investors, streamers, gamers).

Our approach is based on determining the customer need, along with problem solving, and we work backwards from there. We use technical and non-technical approaches and stay aware of industry and business trends.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with statistical analyses tools

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Proficiency in Portuguese, English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in areas such as management consulting, internet, technology, retail, consumer goods, or customer research
