Description

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) works backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi- billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. As a Leader on the LATAM GTM team, you will lead overall GTM strategy for AWS’ EAMM Portfolio of services for our LATAM based customers. These include Serverless, Containers, Mainframe Migration, Microsoft, VMC and SAP. You will lead a senior team across the region, creating sales plays, leveraging partners, and building new initiatives that drive results for our customers. Your team provides critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and you will work closely with our partner network to build a partner ecosystem supporting our customers’ goals. In emerging areas, your team plays a critical role as the “first in” teams to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own overall GTM strategy and execution for EAMM Services across LATAM.

  • Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as developers and technical architects, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.

  • Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage AWS Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.

  • Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience

  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent

  • Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent

  • Experience driving growth through and with cross-functional teams including inside sales, technical, marketing, segmentation, legal (contracts)

  • Strong presentations skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication in English (verbal and written), working control of Spanish desirable.

  • Previous experience as IC or management positions on technical product marketing.

  • Bachelor degree on technical or Business Fields

  • MBA degree
