Amazon Account Executive, Amazon Ads, Mobile Apps in Santa Monica, California

Description

We are seeking a driven Account Executive to join Amazon Ads' Mobile Apps category. Key duties include building strong relationships with mobile app clients, developing strategic media plans to help them achieve their user acquisition and engagement goals, optimizing and analyzing campaign performance, and ensuring clients are satisfied with campaign results. The Account Executive will prospect new mobile app clients, pitch the value of our advertising solutions, negotiate and close deals, and ensure existing clients remain satisfied through excellent account management and customer service.

Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for advertisers and agencies. Our ad solutions—including sponsored, display, video, audio, and custom ads—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase product sales, and more. This role is an opportunity to sell world class personalization technologies and drive media sales across multiple platforms to mid-to-large brand and performance Mobile App advertisers. There are also opportunities to grow and retain revenue from existing advertisers.

This position location is flexible to Seattle, New York City, and Santa Monica.

Key job responsibilities

  • Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients

  • Prospect potential new clients by researching the mobile app landscape, attending industry events, leveraging existing relationships, and cold-calling/emailing

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals across new and existing clients

  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of our mobile ad monetization solutions to prospects

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Work cross-functionally with account management, ad operations, and product teams to ensure successful campaign execution and optimization

  • Continually expand your expertise in the mobile app ecosystem, emerging ad formats like rewarded video and playable ads, and targeting capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience

  • 7+ years of digital ad sales as an individual contributor experience

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building new customer relationships

  • Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $171,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
