About the role and what you'll be doing:
The Program Manager is a key member of the Optimize Leadership team and is responsible for facilitating the effective enablement of Clients to the Lifecycle Management Programs. This is a highly collaborative role, influencing and interacting across multiple organizations and teams to effectively deliver client expectations. As a key program leader, you will manage and mature a program that transitions clients from implementation to steady state lifecycle management.
The scope of the program will contain the following elements and will be matured to a commercial level as opportunities are identified:
Keep and maintain awareness of the sales and implementation cycle for new mainframe clients. Representing the lifecycle teams in pre-sales, sales hand-off and post implementation activities.
Refine and execute the transition process from implementation to lifecycle, ensuring teams and resources are aligned in a timely manner.
Create, maintain, and publish the MF Acceptance Scorecard. Facilitating cross team engagement, identifying improvement opportunities and tracking
Facilitate the process of registering clients into the Optimize scheduling systems. Ensuring organizational alignment, delivery ownership and initial client actions are adequate to achieve contractual obligations.
Maintain alignment with the Ensono service catalog for all services expected to be delivered through lifecycle management. Working effectively between product, architect and service delivery teams to ensure service definitions are clear and aligned.
Facilitate the hand-off between Implementation or Sales turnover and the lifecycle management team, ensuring that lead time and initial scheduling activities are tracked and measured.
Communicate in written, scorecard or presentation form the status of the program and the portfolio of client projects related to the transition of services.
Facilitate the decision-making process of the investments necessary to achieve operational excellence for new clients. Taking into consideration budget, margin and overall costs to achieve.
Develop a continuous improvement cycle internally within the lifecycle team and with key stakeholders. Influence the prioritization of changes from a program standpoint, setting up operations for success and the business to achieve efficiencies.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a computing-related discipline is preferred or equivalent work experience
Business acumen from leading large or complex organizations with budget ownership and high autonomy of decision making.
Deep mainframe experiences across the spectrum of operations, applications, and business support.
Highly analytical problem solver who leverages data as the means to define and execute programs that maximize returns to our operational and financial metrics
Strong cross functional leader and collaborator, capable of inspiring and focusing efforts of the multiple teams in pursuit of realizing desired business outcomes
Strategic thinker, tactical executor with proven ability to achieve quantifiable business outcomes
Process orientation with familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or other frameworks. Ability to apply process and frameworks to work practices.
Impeccable interpersonal skills and ability to positively interact with people at every level
Proven experience in business case creation and realization
Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be capable of creating and presenting highly professional content to audiences ranging from the C-suite to front-line operators
Preferred Qualifications
Strong people leader with proven abilities to coach others to higher levels of performance even when those individuals do not report directly to you
Strong performer under pressure, sound judgment and swift decision-making, founded on data
Challenger of the status quo, blue-sky thinker who brings creative ideas to complex problems
Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Lean Six Sigma and/or other process improvement methodologies as well as Agile Development practices
