Description

The ASP Customer Segments (ACS) team develops and executes global initiatives to accelerate customer acquisition and growth through partners. ACS works across multiple stakeholders in the company including AGS (Sales), Partner Management, Finance, Marketing and roles in geos (AMER, EMEA, APJ). We are hiring a WW Small Business Acceleration PM role to be the business manager role responsible for working with internal stakeholders to create and drive the Small Business Acceleration Initiative (SBAI) rhythm of the business across global and geo executive VP level business reviews.

This role will own operations and delivery of a cross-functional SVP level goal. The Small Business Acceleration Initiative (SBAI) is launching Jan 1, 2025 to accelerate AWS growth in reaching small businesses (<$30M annual company revenue) through partners. The Initiative includes dedicated teams in AWS Global Sales (“partner territory managers”) who drive an indirect selling motion, AWS Marketing to build a “customer acquisition engine” that generates small business demand at scale and passes that demand to partners, and AWS Partner Organization partner development managers who support our partners in building and growing their small business practice.

Global coordination, writing and data skills are needed to surface the most impactful content for executive reviews. You must have a project management mindset and capability - most critically Invent and Simplify, as well as Ownership to define and execute a new VP level cross functional MBR cadence. As a representative and extension of the WW APO Customer Segment team, you will be acting as a trusted advisor to geo stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Partner organizations. This opportunity will allow you to develop your business acumen, while at the same time navigating between strategic thinking and operational excellence.

You should be able to work in a cross functional, cross-cultural, and fast-paced environment, has persistent learning appetite, analytical capability, inter-personal & communication skills, along with a customer obsession and ownership. You will be expected to be innovative, yet frugal, and strong in delivering results. You should also be a data-driven individual, who has the drive to solve complex problems, has high standards, and operate well in an ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities

Sales program development: as a founding member of the SBAI team, you will co-develop and globally implement a new partner sales operating model. You will bring best in class program management skills and rigor, and drive coordination and collaboration across a broad group of global and regional cross-functional stakeholders.

Operational process: your role will serve as the single threaded leader for global operation processes and stakeholder reviews. You will build and manage interlocks with geo-based teams including meeting cadences, and offline information sharing (Workdocs management, 2x2 creation, etc.)

Data analysis: serve as the business owner to create and manage dashboards (with BIE support) that provide insightful business reporting. Conduct Excel-based deep dives into the data to uncover trends and insights and surface these to the WW team. Build and evolve KPI reporting and input/output metrics for the Initiative.

SBAI Mechanisms Ownership: Define, create, and evolve mechanism(s) to support the Customer Segment team (Dashboard, RoBs), as well as help drive effective usage of common and/or new processes. Subject matter expert and point of contact to address related questions. Owns consolidated input from geos into the feedback loop. Leverages the feedback to influence sales/partner teams on improving mechanisms, and programs and initiatives as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

  • Experience setting up and managing a sales pipeline

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
