Role

Reporting to the CVP, Strategy, Marketing, Business Development, M&A – AGS, this person will direct the establishment of vision and segment level strategies to achieve Applied Materials financial goals. Leads all Global Service Business in deal design and negotiation planning. Has final pricing accountability and for long term account development. Analyzes market data to identify customer specific trends/opportunities and develops account specific strategic direction from market information. Partners with management team and other marketing functions (e.g. product marketing, product management, Pricing) to ensure that overall business development function is effectively meeting the organization’s strategic goals.

  • Utilizes highly specialized skills to expand Applied’s technology footprint or customer base or to increase operational efficiencies in support of Applied’s business objectives.

  • Builds strategic relationships across the ecosystem required to deliver new products, services, processes.

  • Leads teams across multiple disciplines and processes by building a vision and shared objectives that enable breakthrough development.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 20+ years of experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership role(s), managing portfolio of products, services, processes, driving innovation and balancing decision and action across the lifecycle.

  • Sales mind set with Operation understanding.

  • Monetize subscription to multiyear service contracts (preference with experience in Digitization).

  • Understand end-to-end complex Fab operation, different levels of complexity

  • Prefers Semi service background but not absolutely required

  • Demonstrated capability to plan at a horizon up to 5 years and beyond.

  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of the industry in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. This includes enabling the business unit to differentiate itself from the competition

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA

U.S. Salary Range:

$280,000.00 - $385,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
