Intel Senior Validation Engineer in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

Join Intel’s TSP group as a Senior Validation Engineer! The Senior Validation Engineer ensures the efficient planning, test content creation, provisioning, validation and automation required to build, validate, and release Cloud based SAAS products and projects. Works closely with development to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Owns the end-to-end quality assurance including source code management for the automation scripts, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools.

  • Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators.

  • Someone who is passionate of quality and focused on attention to detail. Must be able to lead the validation activities.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field and 4+ years of experience in:

  • Validation and Automation.

  • Cloud Deployments and Applications.

  • Automation testing tools experience with Python scripting or similar scripting language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS, Azure or GCP.

  • Automation scripts like Robot, ready API or equivalent.

  • Automating end to end pipelines and working CD deployments like GitHub actions.

  • Testing security applications (threat modeling).

  • Kubernetes.

  • Trusted execution.

  • Remote attestation.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
