Nvidia Senior Product and Merchandising Manager, Employee Gear Store in Santa Clara, California

All powered by never-before seen technology—and remarkable people. This individual will be responsible for the product roadmap for our global employee Gear Store and company merchandise. They are pivotal in shaping the product assortment in partnership with the Art Director, driving the success of our development timelines, and managing our SKUs with our Store Operations lead.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about curating a compelling product selection that will delight our employees around the world. The ideal candidate will have a keen sensibility and eye for on-target products. Equally important, this individual is a driven product manager who thrives on meeting timelines, can lead a team to successful execution with grace and agility, and excels in retail math and spreadsheets. The Senior Merchandising Manager is a member of NVIDIA’s Creative Operations team.

What you'll be doing:

Product Management and Assortment Planning:

  • Develop product roadmap, assortment, and launch schedule.

  • Lead discussions with vendors to source new materials, formats, and colors; maintain quality standards; research new brands and formats that align with our company and resonates with our employees.

  • Ensure overall assortment suits customer preferences in terms of silhouettes, colors, materials, and price points.

  • Set regional targets for new product releases, considering local market dynamics.

  • Own pricing strategies and margin management.

  • Responsible for product forecasts and reviewing sell through. Partner with store operations lead to manage inventory levels.

  • Drive product development process and timelines with internal teams and external vendors; run sampling process including signoffs/approvals; oversee production process with our vendors, ensuring products are made to spec and on time.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Identify items to feature in digital and physical merchandising opportunities. Monitor sales trends and develop marketing plans to support.

  • Curate product selection for promotional programs—like contests—in other areas of NVIDIA.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Own and analyze selling data to make data-driven decisions about future forecasts, product development, and promotion plans.

​What we need to see:

  • 8+ years product management experience (apparel and consumer goods preferred), record of successful and strategic launches.

  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team and work effectively and autonomously in a matrix organization.

  • Strong analytical, digital marketing, and project management skills; excellent presenter.

  • Relentless attention to detail; you are able to prioritize tasks in order to meet critical deadlines.

  • Comprehensive understanding of product development and production processes, from creative concept to sampling.

  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; you are comfortable interacting with people at all levels.

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience; Skilled in retail math and excel in spreadsheets; Highly proficient in MS Office / Google Suite.

The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
