Nvidia Principal Systems Architect, Omniverse Developer Technologies in Santa Clara, California

Our work in visual computing - the art and science of computer graphics - has led to thousands of patented inventions, breakthrough technologies, deep industry relationships and a globally recognized brand. NVIDIA’s Simulation Technology division builds industry leading technology for high-end virtual experiences including Omniverse! Are you an industry veteran who has crafted and implemented multiple large/mid/small scale software projects in your career? Do you have an ability to easily abstract away detail and focus on the crux issues facing a business? Join us in working closely with our strategic partner's technical executive teams as we define the best way for them to adopt Omniverse and other NVIDIA technologies into their solutions!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with our strategic partner’s engineering leadership, defining the efficient architecture for their business

  • Engage with our product engineering leadership to refine the Omniverse architecture

  • Use your experience and technical expertise and actively contribute with Omniverse design discussions.

What we need to see:

  • Validated knowledge of at least one programming language and experience with software development lifecycle throughout your career

  • Skill with deploying cloud-scale solutions on AWS, Azure or other CSPs

  • Understanding of docker workflows, K8s and virtual machine deployments both on prem and on-cloud.

  • Experience and understanding of software/systems principles consisting of requirements, architecture, development, testing, quality, configuration management, and support.

  • Expertise in how software and hardware interact to delivery an optimized solution, for uses like streaming, rendering and AI training

  • BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

  • 15+ years of experience

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Major ownership of a significant system architecture used in production at scale.

  • Hands-on experience with Omniverse SDKs

  • Experience with PIXAR's Universal Scene Description (USD)

The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
