Nvidia Manager, Materials Program Management in Santa Clara, California

NVIDIA has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Materials Program Management in our Global Supply Chain Procurement Organization. You will play a crucial role in managing a team of Materials Program Managers responsible for collaborating with engineering and operations teams on Bill of Materials (BOM) sourcing review and driving contract manufacturers to ensure supply readiness for launch. This position requires a strategic problem solver with outstanding leadership skills and a strong background in semiconductor materials management, coupled with expertise in data analytics with a deep understanding of inventory management, materials procurement, and supply chain expertise in the semiconductor and contract manufacturing industry.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead a team of Materials Program Managers, providing mentorship and support to ensure the successful execution of materials readiness initiatives.

  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to conduct detailed SKU BOM materials reviews, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.

  • Drive the development and implementation of strategies for multi-sourced parts, minimizing risks and ensuring continuity of supply.

  • Apply data analytics tools and techniques to analyze materials data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize materials strategies.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with cross functional teams, encouraging open communication and teamwork.

  • Assess supplier performance using data analytics, implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and delivery targets.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the materials program management function, using data analytics to find opportunities to optimize processes, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.

  • Apply digital supply chain technologies to improve visibility, traceability, and collaboration across the supply chain ecosystem.

What we need to see:

  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 8 overall years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain management within the semiconductor or related industry.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience leading a team in material program management, or procurement organization within the semiconductor or related industry.

  • Proven track record of leadership and team management to empower and develop an impactful team.

  • Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor materials and contract manufacturing processes.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to drive materials readiness for product launches.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques for materials analysis and decision-making.

  • Familiarity with digital supply chain technologies and their application in optimizing materials management processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal team members, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 258,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
