Description

The AWS End User Computing (EUC) team is responsible for providing secure access to the applications and desktops the workforce needs to get their job done. With AWS EUC services, workers can be productive from any supported device.

The AWS EUC team is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant to join our organization. The right candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, have a strong sense of ownership, while maintaining flexibility, and a good sense of humor. The candidate will also have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company, and effective communication skills.

This role is responsible for a wide range of activities, including management of complex calendars and scheduling requirements, tracking key deliverables as needed, coordinating domestic and international travel, expenses and budgeting. Other activities may include coordinating meeting agendas, facilitating key team activities, and assisting with new hire onboarding.

Key job responsibilities

• High judgment and decision making in an ambiguous environment

• Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements, including interfacing with external C-Suite executives and their EAs

• Planning executive Domestic and International Travel

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

• Grace under pressure, sound judgment, and flexibility in balancing competing priorities

• Participate in planning of key meetings, events and team activities

• Work with other assistants throughout the org and across the rest of the company

• Manage expense report coordination and submission

• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

• Support key annual operational planning processes, business planning and performance review cycles

• Act as a liaison for executive’s direct reports

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of executive assistant, or 2+ years of Amazon experience

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience managing multiple executive level calendars

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience leading process improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
