About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Leader to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient and compliant payroll processing for our national organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update payroll data changes in the payroll system

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll. Ensure that documents received are properly completed and authorized prior to processing.

  • Review payroll reports prior to the live production of the payroll.

  • Reconcile data errors and communicates/ records corrective action.

  • Process payroll related activities such as deposits to employees’ bank accounts, payroll banking issues, etc.

  • Respond to external inquiries from government agencies, banks, etc. Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll.

  • Assist with balancing year end payroll filings and year end reports according to Federal, State and Local legislation and deadlines (i.e. W-2s).

  • Assist with projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a payroll role within a national organization.

  • advanced level of English

  • degree in a related field (Office Administration, Accounting, Payroll) is preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of the GlobalView (ADP) SAP based payroll system.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

  • Solid understanding of Payroll Administration and Human Resources practices and procedures.

  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
