About the role.

The Product Owner guides the success of SIOP Product Solutions (e.g. Inventory, Supply, Demand, Platform, etc.) – The Product Owner serves as a Digital Factory Manager and therefore leads a team of intermediate to experienced Digital Factory professionals, setting objectives, providing support with SIOP Tool & other planning solutions, and managing design automation technology solutions for SIOP process optimization.

The Product Owner provides the deep product expertise needed to lead the organization and make strategic product decisions for their given product areas. This Product Owner role will focus on SIOP Product Innovation, bringing new offerings to Carrier Sites across the globe. They will have the opportunity to work on the end-to-end product lifecycle: from assessing individual Site needs, standardization of SIOP processes, and validating ideas; to collaborating with development teams for successful Kinaxis/SIOP Implementations. The Product Owner will have a knack for understanding what makes a product and user experience compelling and will primarily work with Manufacturing / Supply Chain Operations functional group at Carrier. Ultimately, they are responsible for continual innovation and adoption of their product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the design, development, implementation, operations and maintenance of various supply chain, logistics, planning & manufacturing including advanced manufacturing business systems, infrastructure, and databases.

  • Works cross-functionally to understand business requirements and proposes Digital solutions.

  • Manages the team that configures, develops, tests, and deploys new and existing systems for optimal use.

  • Oversees the development of trainings on systems for relevant end users.

Requirements:

Language skills:

  • Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams (written and spoken).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience as Supply Chain Lead, collaborating with customers and technical teams,

  • OR Post graduate Degree & 3+ years of experience as as Supply Chain Lead, collaborating with customers and technical teams,

  • 1+ yrs using RapidResponse (Kinaxis).

  • Desired: 2+ yrs as SIOP Product Owner.

Travel availability:

  • 25% of travel outside Mexico.

Additional skills & experience:

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, demand planning, and/or forecasting.

  • SIOP / S&OP experience with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) & Aftermarket at Factory and Business Unit Level.

  • Proficient use of additional SIOP Tools (e.g. ketteQ, SO99, Blue Yonder, Logility, or similar.).

  • Experience in driving the strategy and delivery of a product, from market validation to launch.

  • Proven experience in either Agile, SCRUM, or Design Thinking methodologies.

  • Takes initiative in uncertain environments and drives results.

  • Breaks down challenges with data-driven solutions.

  • Drives clear communication and powerful presentations.

  • Proven leader in executing processes, projects, and tactics within one work area.

  • Holistic organizational view (understands impact of work on other areas).

Preferred:

  • Deep technical / IT skills.

  • Experience working in a diverse ERP Environment.

  • Vast experience in product innovation, UX & UI (user experience & user interface), design automation, product delivery, or related.

  • Experience with data-intensive products or services; exposure to Analytics / ML (Machine Learning) as an asset.

  • Proficient use of Jira, Miro, visual basic, or similar.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
