Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable SAP WM Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and optimizing SAP WM solutions to enhance our warehouse management processes. Responsibilities:

  • SAP WM Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP WM modules, ensuring successful integration with existing SAP systems and meeting business requirements.

  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse management processes. Monitor application logs & provide a basic administrative work

  • System Configuration: Configure SAP WM settings and parameters to align with business processes and ensure optimal system performance.

  • General Operation Support: Monitor application log and provide basic administrative work. Support Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents SAP ABAP programs. Design, customize, configure, and test the SAP LE, WM module in both SAP R3 and SAP S4 HANA. Support Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents SAP ABAP programs

  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of SAP WM configurations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the system meets quality standards. Design, customize, configure, and test the SAP LE, WM module in both SAP R3 and SAP S4 HANA

  • User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on SAP WM functionality and best practices for efficient warehouse management. Provide technical support to users and handle trainings/VOCs

  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for SAP WM configurations, processes, and user guides. Write specifications for programs of low to high complexity

  • System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize SAP WM configurations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness in warehouse operations. Design ABAP programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of SAP WM with other business processes.

  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP WM, addressing issues, implementing updates, and ensuring system reliability. Participate in projects & system upgrades as needed

  • Stay Informed: Stay updated on SAP WM advancements and industry best practices to propose and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree related in Computer Science or Engineering major required

  • Well-organized and self-directed individual with high motivational skills

  • Hands-on development experience with SAP WM module preferred

  • Hands-on development experience with any of SAP modules WM/ LE/ MM/ SD acceptable

  • Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team setting

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Ability to relate and build relationships with people at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to travel up to 10% in US and international

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP ABAP Programming such as Report, Dialog, Data Dictionary, RFC, ALV, IDOCS, BDC, BAPI, Smart Forms

  • Experience in Oracle SQL query writing and performance enhancement

  • Experience in IDOC/XML data interface with external system

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for the design, creation and testing of programs

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, customers and support

Samsung SDS America supports your professional development and growth in your future career.

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 $170,000 per year, and your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
