Experience with serving neurodiverse clients is preferred. Training is provided in either Natural Language Acquisition or pediatric feeding disorders.Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols that incorporate the latest research and best practices, and that prioritize family-centered and play-based interventions
  • Provide high-quality therapy services to children and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment outcomes, using our electronic health record system, Fusion
  • Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into a client's daily living environment
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and community partners, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals with signed release of information
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal policies, North Carolina board of speech-language pathology and ASHA
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and research initiatives, and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and trainees
