COORDINATOR OF OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

R esponsibility:

  • Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activities

  • Serves as the Pilgrim’s Management Method subject matter expert for assigned facilities

  • Leads assigned facility’s Management Method efforts by functioning as a business partner with each Method Pillar

  • Responsible for proactively working with facility management to identify and assess KPI gaps, and lead projects to clos ure through the use of Operational Excellence tools and methodologies

  • Delivers effective Management Method training

  • Demonstrates ownership of core tools

  • 6 S

  • Writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures

  • Statistical Process Control

  • Root Cause Analysis

  • Kaizen Events

  • Leads gap-closure projects and owns project success.

  • Update and analyze key metrics for the assigned complex or business unit

  • Lead s self-assessment activities for Management Method.

    Education:

    Undergraduate Degree , (Prefer engineering, science, or business focus)

    Experience:

  • 2 - 5 years manufacturing industry experience (preferably in poultry)

  • At least 1 year in Pilgrim’s

  • Background in ZBB or production

    Special Skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Strong Excel user

  • MiniTab experience preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

  • Good internal relationship skills

  • Resilient & Flexible

  • Teaching and coaching skills

  • Hands-on mentality

  • High level of business acumen

  • 6 Sigma Green Belt or higher (desired)

  • Lean Methodology including Waste reduction experience
